Getting the cake and eating it too... by january that is
Christmas gift ni ian sa CFs... an italian cake reminiscent of Kampanerang Kuba's church bell. It's a chocolate-hazelnut piece good for around 7-10 peeps. We're eating it on our Christmas Party on January 21 (migs, i heard, is sponsoring the rest of the entrees, being his birthday and all... hahaha!).
Is christian coming? I hope so, but i wouldn't want to get my expectations up in case he can't come. But i'm actually happy to know of this uncertainty of his attendance. Why? Coz those who would be coming are really friends and not just some oggling-opportunity-seekers who would surely drop by if they know Ian's there. No offense meant but some events are really more special when there is a real bond of friendship between the participants.
I'm not saying that this party is an exclusive affair. Nope. It's for all CFs. But i just want to make sure that those who would be there truly care about the group and are truly willing to be part of the group and not just be a free loader.
I'm not discriminating against newbies who, i realize, might be affected by this post. All i'm saying is that being a part of the group means commitment, assurance. Commitment to all our ideals (whether you actively participate or not), and assurance that when the need arises and we call on you, you will be there to help. It doesn't matter if you these commitments and assurances come in the future, for as long as you're willing to give them, you're welcome.
What i'm saying is that the party is NOT a fans day. It's a FRIENDS day, those who are willing to be our friends and whom we consider as friends are most welcome to the party.
I'm babbling... i don't even know why i wrote this since i'm in a good mood today.. hahaha!

this seems entirely harsh. this is not what i meant. i'm sorry you misunderstood. all i am for is to foster real camaraderie among CFs and not just a flimsy bond of liking christian bautista.
